Itinerary

Days 1-8Cruise

Begin your Alaska adventure aboard Radiance of the Seas, enjoying a spectacular sail from Vancouver to Seward on your 7-Night Northbound Alaska and Hubbard Glacier Cruise.

Day 8FridayAnchorage

Upon arrival in Seward you’ll board a deluxe motorcoach and enjoy a scenic drive to Anchorage. Once in Anchorage, you’ll have time for lunch on your own before visiting the Alaska Native Heritage Center to learn about the cultures indigenous to Alaska. Spend the evening as you desire before retiring to your accommodations at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott.

Day 9SaturdayTalkeetna

In the morning, you’ll set off on an exciting ride aboard the Wilderness Express®, a glass-domed rail car, to Talkeetna. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon to explore Talkeetna as you desire. Unleash your inner adventurer with a zip-lining excursion, float trip, or flightseeing tour of Mt. McKinley. Later, you’ll head to the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 10SundayDenali

Explore the nature trails that surround the lodge in the morning before boarding the Wilderness Express to Denali. After, you’ll have the rest of the evening to relax or enjoy an array of optional excursions before retiring for a restful night in Denali.

Day 11MondayDenali

In the morning you’ll venture deep into the impressive Denali National Park to embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Explore the area’s lush landscapes while searching for Alaska’s “big five” — caribou, moose, bear, grey wolves, and Dall sheep. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. A second overnight stay in Denali awaits.

Day 12TuesdayFairbanks

In the morning you’ll venture deep into the impressive Denali National Park to embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Explore the area’s lush landscapes while searching for Alaska’s “big five” — caribou, moose, bear, grey wolves, and Dall sheep. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. A second overnight stay in Denali awaits.

Day 13WednesdayFairbanks

After breakfast, you’ll explore an array of natural sights and historic landmarks on the Fairbanks City Tour and take in the city’s beautiful landscapes while cruising down the Chena River on the Riverboat Discovery sternwheeler. You’ll also visit the Museum of the North, situated on the campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Here, you’ll discover an extensive collection of Alaskan artwork and historical exhibits highlighting the many cultures that call the region home. Later, retreat to your accommodations to spend a second night in Fairbanks.

Day 14ThursdayFairbanks

After an incredible experience in “The Last Frontier,” your Adventure Specialist will see that you are transferred to the Fairbanks airport for your flight home.
